Spring Holidays : have fun !

Today is April 18, Good Friday. Two day from Easter Sunday. Easter is the most important Christian religious holiday and widely regarded as the second most popular holiday in general after Christmas.

"Poets and beggars, musicians and prophets, warriors and scoundrels, all creatures of that unbridled reality, we have had to ask but little of imagination,"

Gabriel García Marquéz, Nobel Prize speech, 1982

This morning sad news were announced as the author Gabriel Garcia Márquez died. Well known for his 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' and a prolific and wonderful writer. The author was considered one of the greatest Spanish-language writers.

García Márquez, born in Colombia, is widely credited with helping to popularize "magical realism," a genre "in which the fantastic and the realistic are combined in a richly composed world of imagination," as the Nobel committee described it upon awarding him the Prize for Literature in 1982.

He helped to ignite the worldwide boom in Spanish literature with novels such as 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' and 'Love in the Time of Cholera'.

No literary experience is rarer than reading a book that changes the way we see the world.

My tribute goes to the great writer Gabriel Garcia Márquez. After Spring Holiday, all teachers, Languages and Literature, will introduce or will pay tribute to García Márquez in their lessons and will invite the students to read one of Márquez books.

After this sad new, I would like to introduce the theme of this post. Spring Holidays.

The students got Spring Holidays almost for everywhere. And families are enjoying Easter egg hunts across some countries. For those we don't celebrate egg hunts, they get some holiday to travel or just to relax near a beach.

Spring 2014 is warmer than Easter 2013. So, students who stay in town with their parents, they have good choices to have fun and learn a bit as well.

There are a lot of activities at Museums or public Libraries Photography workshops, and most of all nature parks.

Even colleges are offering some cultural activities for children and young people in the last years .

Education:

It is in the early age that students get cultural habits. And with such interesting choice, parents and teachers can guide a little bit the youngest respecting the interests of each one.
