Ratatouille/ Pixar

"It takes three things to make an animated film: world, character and story."

John Lassater

Pixar Animation

Pixar Animation is celebrating 25 years, 12 feature films, and 20 short films.

In honor of Pixar’s 25th anniversary, YouTube member NkMcDonalds put together a video montage of twelve feature films and 20 short subjects we  know and love! Consult the list here

If you like Pixar as much as I do, it will definitely make you smile and it might even make you tear up a little tiny bit. Watch the video below:

"At Pixar, we realize we are associated, in many people’s experience, with computers. We do use computers in the making of our films. However, at the center of everything we do is the love of story and the wonderful pictures that help tell the story. The computer lets us create worlds and characters that otherwise we could only dream of enjoying. The computer lets us invite you into the dream to dream along with us. The computer is where we finish our stories."

John Lassater

Pixar Animation makes the best films, there's no doubt. Each film is unique and special.

Andrew Stanton

Congratulations Pixar! I will be back soon on Pixar and Oscar winner animator Andrew Stanton...

Education:

Movies can offer teachers and students a nice motivating push to have a different lesson! Let's our students have the incredible adventure of 3D animation films to learn about the Narrative text.

Displaying movies in a face-to-face lesson is an important digital resource for students learn about the Narrative text in the classroom.

Students will create better storytelling, including good plots, characters and narrative points of view, the crucial elements of the Narrative text.

A Narrative lets us know something. It tells us what happened. It tells us a story. Our students love to hear, tell and write stories or narratives.

"Movies present language in a way that is often more natural than that found in course-books, the fantastic visual context aids understanding and boosts listening, and students just simply love them."

Back to the Future

Back to the Future III
Robert Zemeckis, 1955

The gamewas based on Back to the Future 3 and had the participation of the actor Christopher Lloyd. The game was an episodic adventure game that continued on from the classic films.

With Christopher Lloyd voicing Doc Brown and co-creator of the movies Bob Gale involved this certainly feels like real BTTF.

Back to the Future spun five episodes, with one episode released each month. The first one was free.

Now, there are different Back To The Future games, You can have a complete list on Wikipedia

Back to the Future | game

Universal Studio Home Entertainment released the 26th October 2010, Back to the Future I II & III as a 25th Anniversary Trilogy.*

Back to the Future Trilogy*

Let's come back to the trilogy. Can it really be 25 years since Back to the Future flew into theaters and became a pop culture phenomenon? Yes, indeed!

Back to the Future | game*

The studio design director Dave Grossman said:" You can expect Back to the Future to be the next step in the evolution that we have been doing for the adventure game, probably a little more accessible and directed. We've been moving things in that direction for a long time". Let's wait for the game for PC.

Back to the Future | game (iPad, iPhone)*

Back to the Futurefor iPhone and iPad. Marty McFly & Doc Brown return in a brand new back to the Future Adventure spanning across five episodes.

You can always buy it for Play Station 4 on Amazon.

Six months after the events of the third film, the DeLorean Time Machine mysteriously returns to Hill Valley – driverless! Marty must go back in time and get aid from a resistant teenage Emmett Brown, or else the space time continuum will forever be unraveled!

Education:

Marty: "Usual? You lead a pretty unusual life, Doc."

Doc: "It's an unusual universe, Marty."

(conversation from the game)*

Wow! It was another awesome gameuntil 2018 to include into school curriculum: Sciences and Literature.

The high-def. Back to the Future III in your lessons? Yes, games are a wonderful resource to include into different lessons.

Movies and video games offer to students a nice motivation push! Games are awesome resources to include into our curriculum.

  • Science fiction:

Science-fiction gives the students the power of magic through science and literature

A narration let us know something. It tells us what happened. It tells us a story. Our students love hear a narration. And they love myths and imagination.

It provides the necessary information to understand the educational benefits of digital resources and virtual worlds and to learn how to use them as educational and motivational resources.

Levels: High-School; Secondary education; Vocational education.

Curricula : Science ; Literature, Arts (Multimedia).

Media:  Students can follow the news on Facebook or Twitter.

With the original film of the trilogy, a genuine classic - the third had its moments too - I've got high hopes for this one. Tempted by Back to the Future?

In Back to the Future, Mary McFly (Michael J. Fox) time travels 30 years into the past in Doc Brown’s (Christopher Lloyd) infamous DeLorean. If he had time travelled 30 years into the future, it would be June 3. But the date Marty jumps to and from in the movie is actually October 21.

 Back to the Future, 1985

Just in time to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of one of the most beloved movie trilogies of all time, Back to the Future: The Game, a Telltale Games Classic, is available* to download, or buy on-disc on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 for the very first time! The game was discontinued on 2018.*

Six months after the events of Back to the Future Part III, the DeLorean Time Machine mysteriously returns to Hill Valley - driverless!

Now, Marty must go back to 1931 to recruit the help of a reluctant teenage Emmett Brown in order to save 1985’s Doc from certain death. Can they repair the rifts of the past without accidentally erasing the future?
