Schools : "Every Breath Has a Story" ! A Global Photo Call for Clean Air !

Air pollution is often invisible, but its impacts are deeply personal. 


In 2023, exposure to air pollution worldwide resulted in an estimated 7.9 million deaths, and millions of healthy years of life lost. 

It affects how we breathe, how we live, how we feel, our ability to earn a living, and how we imagine the future.


Every Breath Has a Story is a global call for powerful photographs and personal reflections that reveal the human reality of air pollution: its sources, its consequences, and the hope found in action and cleaner air solutions.

We are especially proud to launch the first chapter of this campaign at the Africa Clean Air Forum 2026, in Pretoria, spotlighting stories and images from across Africa.

Selected works will also be featured globally for the International Day of Clean Air for blue skies on 7 September 2026, together with the State of Global Air.


Whether you are a professional photographer, student, activist, journalist, or someone who captured a meaningful moment on your phone, we want to see the world through your eyes.






  • What to look for : 

Submissions will be welcome that capture one or more of the following:


  • Air Pollution Sources: Traffic, smoke, waste burning, cooking fuels, generators, industry, dust, agriculture, open burning, or other unique sources.

  • Human Experience: How polluted air affects daily life, movement, work, family life, schools, and wellbeing.

  • Health Impacts: Children, elders, vulnerable communities, hospitals, respiratory challenges (e.g., use of inhalers).

  • Environment & Landscapes: Haze, reduced visibility, urban congestion, damaged ecosystems.

  • Solutions & Hope: Clean transport, renewable energy, cleaner cooking, greener streets, community action, policy progress.

  • Emotion & Resilience: Strength, frustration, grief, determination, joy, hope.







💚Requirements :

  • File format: JPG or PNG
  • Minimum size: 800 x 800 pixels
  • High-resolution preferred
  • Maximum 5 images per person
  • Original work only
  • Basic edits permitted


🌈What's in it for you


  • Selected entries will be featured in a clean air campaign during the Clean Air Day (September 7).
  • Selected entries will also be featured in global reports on air quality published by the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) and State of Global Air (SoGA).
  • Selected entries from Africa will be featured in a photo exhibition in Pretoria, South Africa in July 2026.
  • All selected contributors will receive full credit.

Interesting activity to students who love Photography or study Arts & Photography, don't you think?

Students love participate in contests. They get excited to show off their skills no matter the contest. But a contest about Photography?  

You can ask for help from a colleague who loves photography or is on the Photography Club at school.


Participating in this photo contest uploading a photo that young people can shot in a big city, a small town, a village, whatever.


The contest could be an interesting activity to those students who are enjoying summer holidays or to those students who preparing their exams. During a breack and going, a good relaxing activity.
💛Note : Photos from Africa will be spotlight. However all photos about Pollution will be welcome.

Schools ! Let's talk about Valentine's Day with Norman Rockwell illustrations !

Happy Valentine's day ! Yes, this Valentine’s Day, we are celebrating the warmth, charm, and timeless romance of Norman Rockwell’s art.


His paintings remind us that love is all around, in kind gestures, shared moments, and the people we hold dear.


But let's see ! Why do we sometimes wait until that this day to fully express our love? It is the everyday gestures that really matter. A note you leave in your boy friend's suitcase before he leaves on a work trip, so he finds it once he unpacks. 





Your girlfriend bringing you your coffee just the way you like it! A touch of cream and just under a teaspoon of sugar — without you even having to ask. A bubble bath with candles waiting for you after a long day of shuttling, Wow!


It is through small daily gestures that we feel truly loved. Do we really need a special meal and flowers on 14th February, when everything is double-priced and there is so much pressure on everyone to “perform” their love?

Celebrate your love every day. Even in the midst of a discussion, remember, take a moment to acknowledge your Beloved.

Yes, bye the way, we began with Norman Rockwell! and his art. Photography was a starting point for his imagination. The art of all the scenes depicted belonged to him. Rockwell sketched the photo, directed the actors, coordinated the set. The photographer only took the picture.

If this is not enough to prove extraordinary talent and not a deficiency, let us remember great painters who used photography to create their foundational works: Edgar Degas or Edvard Munch, for example.

Recent technological advancements like AI have brought numerous opportunities for teachers and students. 


AI enables the access of new educational materials online and the swift sharing of information, facilitating seamless and secure connections among learners.

Teaching is not an easy job, But it's one of the most rewarding. Being a teacher is a really complex job and the increased mainstream adoption of AI in schools or universities means the relationship between teachers and students will undoubtedly be different.

My special choice of the #1st semester 2024? Games Awards 2024 : The winner is... Astro Bot ! 


Why ? It's the new era of technology. Students love games in school. They learn better and happier. And Astro Bot is pure joy.


It's like fragment of childhood sealed away and suddenly uncorked. It's like jumping into a ball pit as a grown-arse adult. It's magic.

Astro Bot is a 3D platformer where the player controls the title character, a small robot named Astro Bot, through the use of the DualSense controller. 


Astro's core move set is identical to previous entries, maintaining his ability to jump, hover, punch, and spin-attack, as well as being additionally granted the ability to ledge grab. The ability to swim underwater also returns from Astro Bot Rescue Mission, having been absent in Astro's Playroom.


Astro Bot has won the top prize at the videogame industry's biggest awards ceremony. The Games Awards 2024

First of all, we teachers don't want to be replaced for robots in the classroom!


May we never forget the love o teaching or help students to learn. We don't want to watch robots in our place. 


Teachers teach Peace to this new generation! Life is not a game. Students fight for human teachers in the classroom. You love robots? Only as helpers.
