Catching up with Harry Potter, Nineteen Years Later

September began with a special event! 1 September was the first day of term at Hogwarts, but this year also marks the first day of school for Harry Potter’s youngest son, Albus Severus, according to the Deathly Hallows epilogue.

In the final Harry Potter novelHarry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione saw their children off to Hogwarts, a little over nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts. Thursday, in fact.

J.K. Rowling took to Twitter Friday morning to mark the occasion, tweeting out a reminder for fans of the date from The Deathly Hallows prologue

"Today's the day Albus Severus Potter boards the Hogwarts Express at King's Cross for the first time,"

And later Pottermore announced on Twitter the Hogwarts Experience  Back to Hogwarts.
