October 1st was the World Music Day I love music, I have a master degree in Music/Piano. I celebrated the day in an emotional way.

But October 1st was also World Ballet Day. Well, to me Ballet belongs to the World Dance Day celebrated every year on the 29th April.

However some countries celebrate the World Ballet Day on 1st October as we can watch the vido below:

Ballet is a pretty well-loved theme in many children’s books and movies, and we often find some novels or movies with ballet at their heart.

To celebrate the day in honour of plies, here a movie and a book about ballet that teachers can explore in school.

Both based on true stories of ballet dancers: Jamie Bell(UK) and Misty Copeland (USA). My tribute to World Ballet Day.

And now my rundown of thr most read post in September.I wrote a few posts in English and French, sharing some educational resources to ease and enrich the lives of educators and their students in order to facilitate effective teaching and learning.

No doubt ! Harry Potter books continue to be the ah-ah of chlidren books. And continues on my blog.

Important values of special days, books, apps, or animated movies can always be integrated in school curriculum if we know how to explore these digital resources in the classroom.

Here are the most popular posts of the last month:

Schools : Harry Potter books again ? Yes, by magic !

Oh la ! La rentrée 2015 et les nouveautés

Schools :International Literacy Day 2015

Education : European Researcher's Night is Wonder-ful!

Teachers : Join the World's Largest Lesson

Education for a different world : International Day of Peace

Hope you are happy with your new students and have good lessons. And of course new ideas to continue integrating different digital resources as video games, animated short movies, apps and social media to that enhance the curriculum you are teaching.

Wherever you are, be creative, happy, even you are feeling tired- September, the first month of the new school year is the worst- don't lose your joy and spontaneity of teaching. Teaching is a challenging work with many unique frustrations, but the rewards of are numerable. Keep that in mind.

I'm back to posting the normaç roundup every week.
