Summer break is obviously one of the best things humankind has ever come up with, I was excited! I went to a beach on the north Vila do Conde.
The small and modern hotel & Spa beautifully features a modern library going from the hall to the living room and dining room. Books we can pick up, handle and read. Wow! My kind of pleasure.
However, never travel without a book! Impossible to forget books. Love reading on the beach or at a relaxing terrace taking a fresh watermelon juice. It was so good!
My book. I was curious about Han Kang's The Vegetarian. This is Han Kang’s first novel to appear in English. And I picked it on my bag to read on the beach.

A surreal narrative told in three parts, The Vegetarian is an allegorical novel about modern day South Korea that shows obsession, choice, and our faltering attempts to understand others.
